The area that the decal will be applied to must be smooth, dry and clean. An object with a gloss finish will accept the vinyl very well. An object that is matt or has a rough surface will not accept the vinyl well and it may not adhere to the object as desired. The vinyl will rub off areas that are rubbed. e.g. Mobile phone cases.
This is how the vinyl is supplied on a light blue backing medium, with a clear transfer medium on top.
The vinyl will come off the backing medium, which can now be discarded.
Very gently lay your vinyl and transfer medium onto the object. Provided you dont press any part of this down, you can reposition the design on your object.
When you are happy it's all positioned correctly, rub the vinyl onto your object with a credit card.
Carefully work every single part of the vinyl.
Then you can lift the transfer medium. However the vinyl may not stick completely to your object if it has a rough surface like this PC case.
Gently replace the transfer medium and rub it with more pressure with the credit card on the area which is not sticking, then lift the transfer medium again with more care.
When the transfer medium is completely removed you can very gently rub the vinyl down one last time with your credit card.
Et voila!!!
